The Roaming Range was thought up in 2025 with the sole goal of trying to bring archery and axe throwing to the masses and give everyone the opportunity to try the two sports in an inviting and friendly way.

George (Director)

George’s lifelong passion for the outdoors began in his early years with the Scouts, sparking a deep-rooted love for unique outdoor sports. After starting his career as a gardener, George sought a new challenge and spent five years running dynamic team-building and mathematics workshops. Driven by a desire for a more adventurous lifestyle, he transitioned into the freelance outdoor industry, qualifying as an Archery GB instructor in 2022. Today, alongside running The Roaming Range, George partners with various organizations to deliver Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) expeditions, bushcraft events, certified archery, and axe-throwing experiences—just to name a few.

Imogen (Director)

Imogen is a seasoned activity instructor with a serious love for the great outdoors. With a seven-year background in the education sector, including three years as an outdoor activity instructor and four years working in a school, she is incredibly passionate about helping people learn new skills and try new things.

A lifelong horse rider and avid traveller, Imogen loves chasing new experiences. In fact, before becoming an instructor, she spent six months backpacking and exploring her way across Europe, Asia, and Australia! Whether you are picking up a bow for the first time or looking to sink an axe into the target, Imogen is here to make sure you have an amazing time.
